Anthony Bourdain: Bunny Bully

After I read Kitchen Confidential, I was convinced that Anthony Bourdain is probably one of the funniest, most thoughtful, and incendiary voices of the food world. I’d also like to thank him for stamping out my lingering, adolescent aspirations of becoming a pastry chef.

After I found out that Anthony Bourdain decided to take over his NoReservations Twitter account, I knew the world would soon be a darker, but fantastically funnier place.

When Soap Says A Lot

This tweet is from 2010, but I thought it was so cute and funny when I read it originally that I couldn’t resist! Bake at 350 is a blog that I absolutely love reading. (Check out her New Year’s kiss cookies!)

Anyone else have a similar experience when a kid says something that just makes you stop in your tracks?

Pim Techamuanvivit (Chez Pim) Says It Like It Is

Recently, I read the article about Denise Vivaldo and her relationship with controversial domestic goddess Sandra Lee of the “Semi-homemade” fame. The article has since been taken down (I originally read it at the Huffington Post) but Pim tweeted about it, and it just radiated with truth. David Lebovitz Has Good Advice

The other day, David Lebovitz tweeted this gem.

I have to say, holiday eating is not for the faint of heart. I can feel myself faltering too. I have rough drafts of New Year’s Resolutions I need to write. But I’ll leave you with before I do!

Dorie Greenspan and the Polar Express

I’ve been listening to a lot of Christmas music lately. It’s pretty much the only way to get into the mood when you’re living in southern California. Poinsettias don’t quite do it for me. If only I were Dorie Greenspan!

The Pioneer Woman at O’Hare International Airport

The Pioneer Woman has legions of followers on Twitter. Though the popularity of her website surely warrants the popularity of her tweets, I think her 140 character blurbs stand on their own. They are very often incredibly funny, lively, and relatable. I hope to feature more of her great tweets in the future. 🙂

Cupcake Project’s Cupcake French Toast

Cupcake Project, one of my favorite sites, posted the following on her Facebook page. Inspired, I knew immediately that it had to be translated into visual form.
